Christ Versus the Trinity

Already soon after Jesus death, several people who preferred to have more followers adjusted the ideas of Jesus to the Roman Empire its teachings. The warnings of the apostles could not help it, through the times more pagan ideas, rites and traditions were taken up by many so called ‘Christian believers’.

  • Anyone Who Goes Too Far and Does Not Abide in the Teaching of Christ, Does Not Have God (blogforthelordjesus.wordpress.com)
The trinity concept goes beyond the teaching of Christ and is therefore not of God.  Do not follow strange teachings.  Follow Christ.

In this audio podcast we will be examining the Trinity Doctrine vs the Oneness Pentecostalism Doctrine on the nature of God and the gospel message for salvation.  There are many people today who oppose the Trinity Doctrine and claim that the Bible teaches against it.
  • Trinity: The Truth about Matthew 28:19 & 1 John 5:7 (discoverthetruefacts.wordpress.com)
It is common among Christians that tend to think/believe that the Trinity is all over in the Bible. They insist in the belief of the Trinity of three co-equal, co-eternal Persons in the One God is the true faith. Many very well-known Bible Scholars do not think Jesus is God in a Trinitarian sense, in the New Testament. Many distinguished Professionals maintain that the Doctrine of Trinity is not taught nowhere in the Bible.

The Father is not the Son, nor is the Son the Father, and the Spirit is not the Son, nor is the Spirit the Father. They are all distinct from each other. Yet there are not three Gods, but One God (this is according to Christians). Any human with a sound/sane mind, who is looking for the truth, will see that the Christian doctrine of the Trinity is massive contradiction to what God Almighty stated in the Old Testament. Furthermore this kind of doctrine is never taught by Jesus or his disciples and thus contradicts everything what Jesus taught. If Jesus (p) really taught the doctrine of the Trinity, how come there is not one verse where he states:- “God is One but in three persons” i.e. saying something along the lines, “Father is God Son is God and the Holy Spirit is also God?” Anyone reading throughout the New Testament will see Jesus saying: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” Jesus taught Monotheism not Polytheism.
  • The Holy Trinity – John 14 (imperfectlyindecisive.wordpress.com)
Alright  this is where we have to believe that Jesus is God’s son, fair enough. As a child I remember wondering why that was such a big deal. I was like “duh, what else is Jesus?”. I didn’t realize at that time that It was hard for Jews to accept Jesus (and to be fair I don’t know if I’d be the first one to believe if someone came nowadays performing miracles and saying he was the son of God). Even his disciples at times have a hard time believing and want even more proof, Philip says in John 14:8 “Lord, show us the father and that will be enough for us.” and Jesus is like uhm, what?
  • Theology of the Trinity (colewayant.wordpress.com)
I do not claim to explain perfectly the Trinity, to say I understand the intimate relationship between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is a lie. But, I thank God for making Himself knowable even to an extent that we can meditate on who He is and what that means for us.

God is infinite, eternal, and Holy. He is above all, without sin and without equal. This is why God is holy and angels are not. Angels have equals, though they are without sin. The Lord is perfect in his reason, his attributes, and his holiness. [Ephesians 4:6] “One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all”. [Malachi 2:10] “Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us?” [Psalm 68:5] “Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.” God is infinitely happy in the enjoyment of Himself.

I plan to consider the deity of Jesus Christ at length when my family and I read Chapter 26, “The Person of Christ,” of Grudem’s Systematic Theology, and so here I’ll give just a few passages that speak of Jesus Christ as fully God.
  • The Unholy Trinity (newheavenonearth.wordpress.com)
The unholy trinity is me, myself and I. When we keep the focus on ourselves and our problems, we enter the unholy trinity. What if the negative ego in you is the devil in you? What if the voice in you that seduces you to fear, doubt, worry, waver and cave in to negative habits is the ego as devil. The ego takes you to the past and voices shame, guilt, regret or condemnation. The ego takes your mind to the future and worries, fears or stresses out.
