Mediator

Too many people do forget that there is only One God and that there is the man Jesus Christ who gave us his life, who is the mediator between man and God. Too many Christians are still taking this Nazarene Jew as their god and proclaiming that he is the God, Creator of heaven and earth, while he is the son of God and not god the son.

Let us be thankful that God accepted the offer of Jesus, who was first lower than the angels, but was made higher by Jehovah God, who took him to sit at His right hand to become a speaker or intercessor for us.

  • In A Name Above All Names (denisemarksblog.com) we can see how Denise Marks like many other people got confused between God (Allah in Arabic and many other languages). Though she says that her God reigns and that she knows the names or better titles which are a revelation of who our God is and what He wants to be and do in your life, she seem to mix the Spirit God with His son, the only begotten beloved son of Mary (Miriam/Maria), son of David, son of Abraham and son of Adam, namely Jeshua, better know by many as Jesus Christ.
  • History of the Son (theosomatism.wordpress.com)
If there is a history, there is a beginning.  And the Son of God has a beginning.  This is obvious in John 1:1 when it says, “In the beginning was the Word.”  We know the Word to be the Son.  Therefore, this does not refer to God who has no beginning nor end {Deut. 33:27).

Beginning is but time. The timeless, limitless, and boundless God started time.  And He started it by creating a body to which He breathed the spirit of life and the body became a living being.  Afterwards, God says, “Thou art my Son, today I  have begotten Thee” {Psalms 2:7).  This is a revelation on how the Son came into existence.  And that started the Father-Son relationship.  The Son did not begin His history on earth.  That is a very limited perception.  He started it in heaven, because how could you reconcile His statement “I came down from heaven” (John 3:13) if that is not so?

  • Jesus: Superior to the Angels (smitharmorbearers.wordpress.com)
the book of Hebrews is all about Jesus’ preeminence: He is superior to everything and everyone else ever. And the first three verses summarize this: God started with the Old Covenant and the prophets, then fulfilled his promise in the New Covenant

Emmanuel

mediator

This is where our role get interesting, for in the same manner that Jesus mediated between the two covenants, we are asked to do the same with those that we meet who are still operating in the old covenant, most not even aware that there is a new covenant.

To make sure we understand how to communicate this process of mediation, we should look again at how Jesus managed the task Himself.

The first covenant sentenced everyone because all had sinned.  It was Jesus’ death that enabled those who were called to receive the promised eternal inheritance.  This because a death had occurred which redeems them from their transgressions.

It is no different then when a Will is involved, the death of the one who made it must be established.  For a Will takes effect only at death, since it is not in force as long…

  1. Many Christians by making Jesus their god are not having the full respect for that Jewish man, who was really tempted (though God can not be tempted) and really died (whilst God can not die). Jesus paved the way to his Father Jehovah God, to whom we now can also go to Him as His children. Jesus restored the relationship between man and God, and now is the best intercessor we can have.

We should be pleased to have such a loving man willing not only to offer his body for our sins, but also willing to plead on our behalf.
