Word-Verbum-Logos-Ereyga

For getting to know what has gone wrong in the world and how we fit in this time system and could be able to change something we do have to go back to the beginning of beginnings. The Bereshith tells us how from nothing and chaos came order, just by the impeccable Word, the Voice in the Void. It was that Divine Word that resounded and brought everything into being.

The famous Greek word logos — “word, speech, argument, ratio, etc.” Deutsch: Das berühmte griechische Wort logos — „Wort, Rede, Argument, Berechnung usw.“ (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Later having become created in the image of God we too got the allowance to have the breath of us making sound and forming words. Every time we do speak we should remember that, in whatever language we communicate we have the seeds of God, for this Word gave birth to languages in humankind. For that reason we should also be very weary how we use our words and take heed that they are in accordance with the Will of God, following His Words.

Let us cherish the living seed

To remember

  • Mystic(al) Word = WORD > in Greek sense of Logos or Λόγος,
  • Latin ‘Verbum’, Greek ‘Λόγος’ + Somali ‘Ereyga’, = bit like Russian Roulette with translator
  • Reference to the ‘One’ with God and who is God as the Word is only discovered in the prologue of the Fourth Gospel which from the very beginning is immediate in stating that this Word was not just born today!

“Ἐν ἀρχῇ ἦν ὁ λόγος” (RP Byzantine Majority Text 2005)3

This Word was here in the Beginning, if God has a beginning.

  • we need to speak or write or Sign to live + learn
  • Each time we abuse Words = using them for illegitimate reasons = abuse God
  • tripping off the tongue > God used as a weapon to cow those in our public and private margins to boost our own righteousness, inverting God, returning His sacred words to the Word as we rewrite our own.

We use it to express ourselves through speech, to record our experiences or to invent and tell stories in writing. But before all that begins, before a word leaves our lips or a pen hits the page, we use language in our heads.{Where do words come from? Do they really mean anything? + Where do words come from? Do they really mean anything?}

Saussure points to the fact that onomatopoeias for the same sound vary greatly from language to language, and speakers are often conditioned by their language to perceive certain sounds as beautiful. (What words do English speakers find beautiful?)

This post is born of Code Mystic,Worded and Chosen by Kosmogonic which I re-pressed here yesterday.

The Mystic(al) Word that sprang to my mind is the very word WORD, especially in the Greek sense of Logos or Λόγος, because the poetry presented by kosmogonic consisted of such beautiful word strings I was set upon a search of the Word in other voices.

I settled for the Latin ‘Verbum’, Greek ‘Λόγος’ and Somali ‘Ereyga’, why Somali? A bit like Russian Roulette with the translator, once I had found it I googled it and quickly found the Bible project.

Winter Solstice 2015: Shortest Day Of The Year Celebrated As Pagan Yule

Having natural bodies and hoping to get spiritual bodies in this system of things we do have to live in this world but that does not mean we have to live according to this world or according to man’s system.

Most parents get confronted more with life questions as soon as they get children and when those go to the primary school they are questioned even more about life and religious matters.

English: Santa Claus with a little girl Espera...

When those schools celebrate the pagan festivals and have the children dress up and parade with Halloween and when Saint Nicholas is celebrated begin December and afterwards the Christmas tree is put up in class and Santa Claus becomes the subject of the day, parents have to be strong not to go against those worldly fashions in the wrong way but have to deal with it diplomatic.

Though they should not be afraid to make it very clear to their child what is pagan and contrary to the Will of God. Such pagan festivals are the time of the year to show the right way to children and grandchildren. Such occasions we may not miss to witness about the Gospel of the real Good Tidings and how we have to prepare ourselves to a much better world than this one.

We have to show our children and/or grandchildren how we have a much more precious gift than all the material gadgets this world is offering our greedy consumer eyes.

Male and female essences shall receive their righteous place in a new universe and shall come to to operate fully as renewed beings, but only those who are justified and shall be allowed by the God given judge, Jeshua, the master teacher and saviour Jesus Christ. On him we should put our hope and look forward to receive him as our most important gift of the year.

Can a scientist believe in God

Once again some debates about science, beginning of the universe, evolution and who can believe in what, is being going on in several heated debates.

English: A composed satellite photograph of No...

Lots of North Americans seem to have a lot of difficulties with the way people want to look at the creation. For many of them it seems impossible to take the creation as having taken part in different phases others than a day of 24 hours. They seem to forget that God has a total different measuring than our present time system.

In the United States of America many science professors say they do not think it is possible that a scientist believes in God. In other countries we can find scientist who were atheist but by their scientific findings  and getting to see what was written in the Bible did come to the Christian Faith.

, American religious figure.

Billy Graham, American religious figure. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Billy Graham in care of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association wrote about this question:

Over the years I’ve met many outstanding scientists who not only believed in God, but were also dedicated followers of Christ. Many, in fact, told me that they’d first become believers because of their scientific studies.

Why was this? One reason, they said, was because they came to see that it was more logical to believe in God than not believe in Him. No matter where you look — through the most powerful telescope or the strongest microscope — the complexity and the beauty of the universe point to an all-powerful Creator. In other words, believing that the universe “just happened” takes far more faith than believing in God! The Bible says,

“Since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature — have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made” (Romans 1:20).

But my scientist friends also realized that science has its limits. Science can describe what the world is like, but it can’t answer the questions of why we’re here or where we’re going when we die. Only God can give us the answer to these spiritual questions, and He has answered them through Jesus Christ.

Don’t be put off by the unbelief of others. Instead, turn to Jesus Christ and open your heart and mind to His truth as it is revealed in the Bible.

…. Only in Christ, the Bible says,

“are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3).

With over 80 percent of people on our continent now living in metropolitan areas, the need for more biblically faithful churches in key urban centers is critical.Over the last year, I have had the privilege of visiting and preaching in many of the “Send” cities designated by the North American Mission Board. As I have interacted with church planting and revitalization teams, I have been deeply encouraged to see and hear about all the avenues God is blessing for the spread of the Gospel in North America. The rapidly shifting moral landscape of our culture, combined with the sobering reality that many of the most influential cities in North America are filled with lost people — yet are home to very few churches — beckons us to do more together to reach these cities.

God’s primary instrument for the spread of the Gospel here and around the world is the local church. We know from the New Testament that Christ is building His church and that the gates of hell will not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18).
