Displeasures and Actions of the Almighty God

A nice resume of what we have to remember to do and what we should not or may not do.

We should be much more aware of what pleases God and of what He dislikes.

People much too often forget that our attitude to the Divine Creator and His creatures is very important. Our mind shall be the touchstone.

Finding the right balance in our life is very important. In our life we shall have to make the right choices, being aware of what are “Abominations to God” and what His regulations or “Commands to the Believers” are.

To be able to “Abstain from all appearances of evil” we do have to recognise “evil” and this will demand looking at things in the right way, and to make sure we do not fall for the wrong and human doctrines but keep to Biblical doctrines.
Beware of covetousness, backsliding and treacherous false teachers and giving preference to please human beings instead of pleasing God and laying up treasures in heaven, for your entrance in the Kingdom of God.

Therefore let us always look at the Commands of God, who does not want any other gods before Him and does not want any any graven image of Him. His request to love your God with all your heart requires you to worship only One True God, the God of Abraham, and not a threeheaded god or any-other god or saint. Only the God of Israel you should worship with all your soul, and with all your might.

We also may not forget to look at the Counterfeits like the many false worships we see in this world. At the same time we should be fully alert for the false Christ’s, false apostles and false ministers who preach a false gospel. But we also should be at the lookout for false Christians, who are those who twist the words of Christ and do not want to believe what Jesus himself and Jesus his heavenly Father say about themselves.

Lots of people love to see special things, like wonder-works and we can find lots of preachers who present themselves as miracle workers. Be careful not to be carried away by their nice or very theatrical words and actions.

Please do stay away from false commandments, false doctrines and false religion, not bringing false prayer and going along with false religious teachers, following false prophets, creating for yourself false or wrong Excuses.

Something Most False Christians Have In Common

In many denominations of Christendom the words of theologians took more importance than the Word of God. Christianity got defiled by doctrines, rules people just had to believe because their church said so and could not proof it clearly by the Holy Scriptures, the Bible.

Now those Christians are mostly afraid to step away from their church because they are bounded by those dogmatic teachings and by traditions which they would like to keep. = That is part of being of the world , like described in the Bible, and the most difficult bit for many to get rid off.

Retired pastor John Piper of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minn., had high praises for Christian rapper Shai Linne for his defense of his new song “Fal$E Teacher$” in which he gives a withering criticism of the “prosperity gospel” and an explicit list of some of its more popular preachers like Joel Osteen, T.D. Jakes and Benny Hinn.

In the video Linne explained that he was inspired to tackle the “prosperity gospel” in the song after receiving mail from some of his fans in Africa discussing the wave of prosperity preachers on the continent whose actions have been hurting desperately poor people.
“[The prosperity gospel has] been embraced,” he further explained in an interview with WADE-O RADIO. “You have these rallies where literally over 100,000 people will come to hear these guys talk about prosperity. The people who are coming are impoverished like crazy and they’re buying into it thinking that this false theology is going to be their way out of poverty. They figure, ‘Hey, it must work because it’s working for these guys in America.'”

The Bible has become the symbol of Christianity that it is one sacred book treasured by the religious and faithful. In fact, this has been translated to many languages so people of other nations will come to know its teachings. Moreover, the existence of Cambridge Bibles came to be so that we can always remember the moment when the holy words have reached the common people.

Can atheists and Christians find common ground?
    +
The reason I’m hesitant about that “Christian” label is because nobody really has a clear picture on what that means, especially people who are not Christian. Does saying I’m Christian mean I’m a Republican? Does it mean I hate gay people? Does it mean I believe the universe is only 6,000 years old? Does it mean I’m intolerant of other people’s religions (especially Muslims) and think all atheists are going to Hell? No. I’m the opposite of all those things. I don’t believe any of that, but often, that’s the first thing that comes to non-Christian’s minds when they hear that word “Christian.”
    +
Also, what about what Christians think of each other? Is it enough that I believe in Jesus? Well, for Jesus, yeah – it is. For a lot of Christians, no – it’s not. I’ve been told that if I don’t speak in tongues, I’m not a real Christian. I’ve been told that I shouldn’t believe in Evolution if I’m a Christian. I don’t want to be associated with that sort of thinking. It gives Jesus a bad name and Jesus never said anything about the Earth revolving around the sun, the world being created 6,000 years ago, etc. I think throughout history and through today the Church has done itself a lot of harm when it takes a firm stance on these extra-biblical ideas based on things Jesus never said.
    +
Jesus said, “Follow me.” That’s what I do. Does that alone make me a “Christian?” I don’t know. Jesus was Jewish. He said, “Follow me.” He didn’t say, “Be a Christian.”
  • Atheists Use A Popular Bible App To Evangelize About Unbelief (theyawningbean.wordpress.com)
“While it’s unknown how many atheists use YouVersion or other Bible apps, polls show atheists are among the most religiously literate Americans, topping Jews, Mormons and other Christians in a 2010 Pew Research Center poll.”

Biblical Subjects

 By Pastor Bruce K. Oyen

What do most false Christians have in common? It’s not their clothing. It’s not their hairstyle. It’s not where they live. It’s not their education. It’s not their income. It’s not their nationality. It’s not their language. In fact, it’s not a lot of things.

So, then, what is it? Although it is a fact that they might have several things in common, what I want to point out is that they all derive some, or many, or all, of their religious doctrines  from some source outside of the Bible. This is in direct contrast to the teachings of historic, orthodox Christianity, which has always correctly looked at the Bible as the one objective, infallible, and final source for Christian doctrine.

False Christians might believe that the Bible is the Word of God in written form. But they often believe that religious truth has been made known by God through…
