Opportunity!

In life we often look at the wrong things and are most concerned about futile matters.
Instead of looking at people for what they really are, and not how they dress and show off their wealth; discovering the difference between those who seem to succeed and those who fail. Because often people measure the success of people with their worldly fame and wealth, but they do not know the situation in the family and the social mess which perhaps may exist in the person his private life.

We should focus on the spiritual matters and look for the aim and purpose in life. In case we look for nothing in particular, we may find just that and no more, while the Creator God has so much more for us in petto. We just have to come to Him, trust Him and allow Him to direct our lives. Than we will feel the real blessings and shall be able to grow and let others to grow as well.

In our mind we should see the bright side of life, not complaining about lots of things, of a lack of time or opportunity, but making time to do the things we can enjoy and where we do feel good at. Yes, there are so many people out there who have made more out of the odds and little opportunities which many of us carelessly throw away, than others will get out of a whole life-time.

Like bees, they extract honey from every flower. Every person they meet, every circumstance of the day, adds something to their store of useful knowledge or personal power.

  • Thankful for Creator GOD (thempactlife.wordpress.com)
Even in the cacophony of  life sounds, can you find something to be thankful for?

These simple things cause me to extend thanks for my Heavenly Father, Creator GOD.  I am grateful for the Creator of you and me.  Just like the different colors of the trees, you and I are distinct. You burst forth with color and light. You grow, change, and transform in your seasons.  Still like the tree, you stay strong and  resilient. Against opposition, trials, and tests, you stand tall, bold, and brave.

One of the key concepts to creating wealth is to understand that money is not the goal. That’s right, I said, money is not the goal.

Frequently people will tell me that they want to make money. However, I know it is not money they are really after. It is the things that money can buy and the freedom of time to do what they really want.

While you may think this is an insignificant difference, it is actually the reason so many people never become wealthy.

Gratitude will make you feel enough, and more it caused you to feel great inside. Feeling the gratitude alone will caused you to be happy, therefore will minus all the stress which burden yourself, allowing you to grow which in turn create an opportunity for you to reach almost anything in life…. I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. – Ecclesiastes 9:11

‘Time and chance’, what I call opportunity is available to all of us, yet many of us do not take it. We don’t recognize it. We look for it in distant places. We complain of a lack of opportunities where we are, but that is not true because there is opportunity where you are.

Some one or something to fear #7 Not afraid for Gods Name

Fear to use a name of a ghost, person or group

13. Not afraid for Gods Name

It is notable that a lot of priests or preachers do not dare to use God’s Name or even do not talk much about His person nor His works. In a lot of schools the religious instruction has not much to do with God but in fact concerns more general moral ethics or moral philosophy. Often there is more philosophy than studying the Word of God. Bible study is more often little sleeping baby than the popular theologians.Calling on the Name Jehovah to be Delivered

One does not dare to speak too much about God, because one is frightened to fail then. One thinks that people will pull out or that they (as preacher or as person) will be less popular. The own popularity is more on their mind than the popularity of their God. They are more concerned with what others might think about them. They prefer concealing God rather than to be unpopular in this world.

They have a worldly fear of failure which is still less to gloss over than the children their fear of not succeeding for a house task or test. It should not be our priority to succeed in this world or to become acknowledged and popular. We as Christians should aim to follow Christ, listen to him and accordingly honour his Father. Our aim should further be to succeed to become approved by God.

To be able to dare to come before the eyes of God we must dare to omit our fear. Though the world may look frightening we should be strengthened by the Force of our God. The world may not frighten us. We should dare to speak out the Name of our beloved Father, the Creator of us all. And we should know that to be able to be recognized and to be accepted by the God of gods, we shall have to accept His position and have to dare to speak out His Name which He loves to hear. We should have no excuses not to dare to pronounce His divine name and also to address Him with that Name that He has given to Him and us and also wants to hear.

“Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I Jehovah thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me,”(Exodus 20:4-5 ASV)

“Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold,or silver, or stone, graven by art and device of man.” (Acts 17:29 ASV)

“Their idols are silver and gold, The work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not; They have ears, but they hear not; Noses have they, but they smell not; They have hands, but they handle not; Feet have they, but they walk not; Neither speak they through their throat. They that make them shall be like unto them; Yea, every one that trusteth in them.”(Psalms 115:4-8 ASV)

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24ASV)

“I am Jehovah, that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise unto graven images.” (Isaiah 42:8 ASV)

“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” (John 14:13 ASV)

Sometimes we fear what people think of us, and that is every bit as debilitating as fear for our lives.  Moses almost missed his mission in life of delivering the Israelites out of Egypt because he was afraid they wouldn’t accept him, afraid that they would question his authority.  Many of the Old Testament prophets feared that their messages would be rejected and mocked by the people. “Fearing people is a dangerous trap” and may keep us from fulfilling our calling.

  • Confidence in God (maryscatholicgarden.com)
few Christians have confidence strong enough to dispel anxiety and doubt.  Lack of confidence can cause us to hesitate, and sink into despair and discouragement.  When St. Peter saw Jesus walking on the water, he eagerly jumped out of the boat with assurance and confidence.  But when the waves rose threatening to overpower him, and he saw the ferocity of the raging storm, he became frightened and took his eyes off Jesus, promptly sinking like a rock!

8. Broken families

It is a pity we had to come to the conclusion that some families got broken up, but we must agree that Jesus also warns us for this fact that how closer we shall come to the End Times how more families shall be broken up by the choices the members of those families want to take. It is because certain people want to prefer to hold fast onto the world, while those who want to give hands to God, grow away from the popular things of the world. Though they do not have to alienate from it.

Good Christians also can enjoy a lot of good things of the world. We do not have to become strangers or hermits or anchorites. Instead of silent loners we better become whistle-blowers. By ringing the bell and calling the people to look for themselves we should try to open their eyes. And those sayings are probably to hurt some people. At first certain people are going to be hurt but it is up to the loving Christian to bring in the softening cream to heal the wounds made by the necessary changes. People may withdraw from situations where unpleasant effects of anxiety have been experienced in the past [1] and lots of sayings are spread into the world. Some real but also a lot cooked up. Concocted stories are send in the world to discredit those and other non-Trinitarian thinkers. Wrongful accusations are triggered to many believers who do not want to accept the Trinity. Unreasonable things are being said about them and erroneously they are all set in one box. It seems very difficult for people not to generalize. And that is what they mostly do about people who not think and handle as themselves.

9. Competition

The unjust ‘competition’ brings in a violating action. Undeserved reproaches are made to the non-Trinitarian communities and the adversaries use the biggest and most well known group to hit the others as well. This makes the fear of failure to grow by those smaller communities. Believers fear that they shall not be favourable for a good performance by the common world. The danger occurs that they lose sight of the most important things to hold on and lose sight of the main Person Who can give them the necessary things to succeed in this life on earth. They often forget Who it is who can make them better and more productive members of the society.

It would not be honourable to Him who provide to hide Him and to be afraid to mention His Name.

  • Matthew 10:16-42: Jesus warns about Persecution (iamnotashamedofthegospelofchrist.com)
Jesus claimed [to] his disciples:  he was the one sending them. He acknowledged openly  that he was sending them into a dangerous world. They would be defenseless as sheep among a pack of wolves. He advised them to be as wise as serpents; cautious as not to fall into traps and avoid trouble. They were to be harmless as doves: bringing no harm to anyone and wishing no harm upon anyone, that they remain blameless.

Jesus prophesied of their suffering. He told them to be cautious of men– who can be evil and deceptive for the purpose of delivering them over to authorities. Disciples would face persecution from both the religious and political realms. They would beaten in synagogues and dragged before kings and governors. Their firm faith and testimony would serve as a witness– specifically, Jesus said, to the Gentiles.

  • Jesus Comforts His Disciples (bengarry.wordpress.com)
Jesus is comforting his eleven (twelve minus Judas Iscariot) disciples who are there with him in that time and place, because he does not want them to despair after he has died (though not many of them seem to actually take this comfort to heart), but on another level, Jesus is comforting all his disciples, throughout time. That includes you and me.

If we say we believe in Jesus, then why should we doubt anything that he says? Why would he say it, if it wasn’t true? Remember, I think that there are two ways to read this passage: circumstantial (i.e. in the time and place of speaking) and universal (applicable to all believers, regardless of time or place). I think that the universal meaning of this sentence is that Jesus died so that we may be able to come to the ‘Father’s house’. Without Jesus, there would be no place prepared for us.
  • Facing a fear that is real (real monsters under the bed) (jltate89.wordpress.com)
Every day I hear of more wars or possible wars breaking out; I hear our country’s leaders willing to go against the rest of the world to go defend a country that would rather see us all die painful deaths! And I’m afraid! My fear isn’t so much about the war part as it is about the spiritual well-being of my family, friends – even people I don’t know. The Bible tells us that in the end times there will be “wars and rumors of wars” and that “as in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the end times”.
  • This is scary to confess (perspectivecollector.wordpress.com)
Whenever anyone of the opposite shows the slightest interest in me, I run. I freak out. I don’t know how to behave, and it’s all awkward, so I run. Often the person and I will be getting along great, and then as soon as they show any signs of interest, I’m gone. I feel bad about it because the poor person is probably left so confused and rejected. That was never my intention; I was just scared.

I’m scared of intimacy. I’m scared of having another person really know me. Because I fear they will reject me. I worry that I’m unlovable. And don’t want to have it proved by a person who is supposed to love me, reject me.

Fundamentally, I’m afraid of getting hurt.

  • Fear or Faith??? (forsuchatimetowrite.com)
Fear is an emotion or feeling that danger is close.  An emotion that is similar to feeling happy, or sad, or excited, or disappointed.  God is the creator of our emotions…He knew long before we ever “felt” a certain way that we would.     If I see a snake in front of me, there is no doubt, I will feel Fear.  I would probably scream, jump, run, and maybe ever overreact just a bit.  This is a natural reaction.  God’s word does not say, Do Not Feel Fear… He tells us not to be afraid.  Do not live a lifestyle of fear.  Let me say that again… Just to make sure that I hear it…. Do not live a lifestyle of fear!!!

We really don’t need any more Christians out there telling everyone what they can and can’t do – we’ve got plenty of those. What the Kingdom of God needs are people who have chosen to live Gospel centered lives, who understand the depth of their sin, how far Jesus came to save them, how much it cost Him, and how loved they are – and who want to pass that love and grace on to others.

Non-believers don’t need scared, religious folks shouting at them from a distance, afraid to come near them. They need people who understand the grace of God, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and how He came into the world, broke down the barriers of sin and shame, exchanged His life for ours, died the death we should have lived. He dived into the mess and brought out all who would believe in Him.

  • The Trinity: A Fundamental of the Faith or a Fable? (idfables4unity.wordpress.com)
As a child I was always taught and believed in the doctrine of the “Trinity”, i.e. that there is one God who has revealed Himself as “three persons” and that these three are “members” of the Godhead. However this teaching, which was developed by men and formulated in various creeds long after the Bible was completed, is foreign to scripture! The doctrine of the “Trinity”, although considered by most Christians to be a fundamental of orthodoxy, is never stated in the Bible but is rather contradicted by the inspired writings! It is for such reasons that I have had to reject it to embrace scripturally stated doctrine concerning the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
