Infinite payment of sin by the son of God

Jesus, the only way to God

Jeanie Shepard says she has dedicated her life to serving God, and being an example of the love of Christ. As a passionate Bible teacher, committed to inspiring and encouraging people to live their best lives now, to face their fears, and to grow stronger in the holy things of God, she believes that no other religion teaches the depth or seriousness of sin and its consequences.

We are afraid we can not agree with that, because in this world of many religious groups we can find more than one religion where the followers look at good and evil. After man came to get knowledge of good and evil that knowledge went from one to an other generation and even non-religious people thought about people going bad, what in Christendom is called sinning.

she also writes

No other religion offers the infinite payment of sin that only Christ could provide. {The Only Way}

When she means “Christ” the Kristos or Messiah delivering people she is again missing the promise to and the believe of the Jews, and in some aspect also the Muslims. Jews and Muslims look also to the Messiah. In the Islam it is also taught that Ishi/Jesus will come back and that at his return he shall come to judge the living and the dead. For the Jews, they too wait for their Messiah to come, though for them, we do agree, they look (perhaps) for an other person than we and Jeanie Shepard are looking for. Many of them shall be surprised to find out that rabbi Jeshua is really that promised one from God.

With the writer of JSM Grow in God’s Word we too believe we should look to that Christ, though her idea of that Christ is not the biblical view nor our view. She considers that Christ to be God having come to the earth and having done as if he died, because God can not die and is an eternal Spirit. Though she says to

believe we are saved by God’s grace through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. {The Only Way}

she contradict in a certain way what she says, because she does not seem to accept the personality Jesus Christ. This is a general problem with a lot of people who call themselves Christian. Instead of accepting the words of Jesus Christ and the Words of his heavenly Father they prefer to believe the human doctrines and to make Jesus into their god.
Such idea undermines the position of Jesus Christ, the man who is called by the Word of God to be the son of man and the son of God.

We all should know that God is bigger than anything that we go through; but that He is also greater than Jesus. Rabbi Jeshua knew very well his position and never claimed to be God, but made it very clear where he was standing, not able to do anything without God.

Christians should take those words of Jesus at heart. They should believe that Jesus, the sent one from God, his heavenly Father works in him and still works today. Christians should understand Jesus his position, being under God, even not able to do anything of himself. Jesus like all the people who saw the miracles could see what God the Father did. It is this God of Abraham Who authorised rabbi Jeshua, Christ Jesus, to do all these things. For all that Jesus does is done by the Power of God.

Because of God having given the authority to speak and act in His Name, this son does together with the Elohim Hashem Jehovah out of love for mankind.  Everything Jesus did was out of love for God Whose Will he wanted to do, and not his own will (which he would have done when he is God). First Jesus was lower than angels, but after his ransom offering he was made higher, though God always stays the Most High.

This Most High Eternal God is the Father Who loves His only begotten beloved Son and shows him all the things that He does, and He will show him greater works than these that we may marvel. For as the Father raises up the dead and gives them life; even so God His son gives life unto whom he will. Therefore we should take heed and look at this sent one from God who may judge the living and the dead and is at the moment seated at the right hand of God (and not on God‘s throne) to be a mediator between God and man.  For the Father judges no man but has committed all judgement unto the son that everyone should honour the son, even as they honour the Father.

We should take the Words of God, given in the Holy Scriptures very serious. In the New Testament we are warned that he that does not honour the son does not honour the Father Who has sent him, plus that believe in him is important for man’s salvation.

Jesus also warns the people around him that those who hear his words and believes Him (Jehovah God) that sent him (Jesus Christ, the Messiah) has eternal life and shall not come into judgement but has passed from death unto life. But you could also read this as an implication that the ones who do not want to believe God and Jesus their words shall not pass from death to life and shall not be able to enter the small gate of the Kingdom of God.

First of all we should have to look up to the One Who sent Jesus, secondly we should look at the one sent by God.  For as the Father has life in Himself, so has He given to the son to have life in himself and has also given him power and authority to execute judgement because Jeshua (Jesus Christ) is Son of man and the son of God in whom we should put our hope.

“17  But Jesus answered them, “My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”
18 Therefor the Jews sought the more to kill Him, because He not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, “Verily, verily I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do; for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. 20 For the Father loveth the Son and showeth Him all things that He Himself doeth; and He will show Him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. 21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead and quickeneth them, even so the Son quickeneth whom He will. 22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son, 23 that all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father who hath sent Him.

24 Verily, verily I say unto you, he that heareth My Word and believeth in Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life. 25 “Verily, verily I say unto you, the hour is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and they that hear shall live. 26 For as the Father hath life in Himself, so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself, 27 and hath given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. 28 Marvel not at this; for the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice 29 and shall come forth—they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. 30 “I can of Mine own self do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I seek not Mine own will, but the will of the Father who hath sent Me.

31  If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true. 32 There is Another that beareth witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesseth of Me is true. 33 “Ye sent unto John, and he bore witness unto the truth. 34 But I receive not testimony from man, but these things I say, that ye might be saved. 35 He was a burning and a shining light, and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. 36 But I have greater witness than that of John; for the works which the Father hath given Me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of Me that the Father hath sent Me.” (John 5:17-36 KJ21)

We may not let our mind being filled with false human thoughts, but should listen to the Word God has given us. We may also not let our heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid, by wondering what others might think if we do not follow the mainstream or do not take part in the many human traditions.

The Bible teaches that there is no other way to salvation, but through Christ. Jesus is the way to God and the path to eternal salvation for those who believe in him. No one comes to the Father except through the son, and Jesus is the only begotten son of the Father. He is the only acceptable sacrifice by which man’s sins are forgiven.

“”For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 KJ21)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23 KJ21)

All people should come to hear what Jesus has taught. He left the earth but he shall come again unto us. Those who accepted Jesus for what or who he is and love him, there can be rejoicement because they know and believe that Jesus went unto the Father, and not to himself or to take back his place as God; for his Father is greater than himself (Jesus Christ). Christians also should tell others about this son of man who is the son of God, and not a god-son, that the world may know that Jesus does not love himself but loves the Father; and as the Father gave him commandment, even so does Jeshua (Jesus Christ).

“27 “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

28  Ye have heard how I said unto you, ‘I go away and come again unto you.’ If ye loved Me, ye would rejoice because I said, ‘I go unto the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that when it is come to pass, ye might believe. 30 “Hereafter I will not talk much with you, for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in Me. 31 But that the world may know that I love the Father, as the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.” (John 14:27-31 KJ21)

When you believe those things, then you should be able to accept and believe that

Through Jesus everyone who believes is set free from every sin; (Acts 13:38-39; 1st John 2:12). Sin has a penalty that must be paid, if not through the shed blood of Jesus finish work on the cross,

not that

the only other option is the eternal torment in hell’s unquenchable fire. {The Only Way}

because by dying all payment is given for the sins done. God does not want any other payment and tells us that when we die it is finished.

Though we may not forget that

To receive the free gift of eternal salvation, we must look to Jesus alone. We must place our trust in the finished work of the cross as our payment for sin and in his resurrection.

Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved; (Acts 4:12).

People Seeking for God 1 Looking for answers

People with many questions on their mind

Many people wonder why they live and what the use is of all the troubles they have to endure. Throughout the times many where looking for answers for the reason of their being here on earth and for what they should and could do.

Those who were looking for answers got to know that in the very past there was living an old man who received promises of the One Who is called the Eternal Being and Most High. To the patriarch Abraham this Only One God, Jehovah said:

“(14)  And after Lot had separated from him, יהוה {Jehovah} said to Aḇram, “Now lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward,  (15)  for all the land which you see I shall give to you and your seed forever.  (16)  “And I shall make your seed as the dust of the earth, so that, if a man could count the dust of the earth, then your seed also could be counted.  (17)  “Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.”  (18)  So Aḇram moved his tent, and went and dwelt by the terebinth trees of Mamrĕ, which are in Ḥeḇron, and built an altar there to יהוה {Jehovah}.” (Genesis 13:14-18 The Scriptures 1998+)

Words in a book, given to man

People got to know about the Book of books, the Bible, which many consider the infallible Word of God, given to man so that they could get to know their Creator. One of the most important themes in scripture is the Most High Being and His relation to the creation and the concept of an everlasting kingdom on earth. It is mentioned countless times, from the early words quoted from Genesis through the picture of the New Jerusalem provided in the final pages of our Bibles (Revelation 21:10). It would seem self-evident that for these promises to be completely fulfilled, the heavens and earth themselves must last forever.

Scientists have looked into the future of the heavens and earth with the same keen interest as they have delved into the birth of the universe. Surely the Most High Elohim God could anticipate the findings of science in these latter days and would not leave us without guidance. When the Bible records that His kingdom would be forever we definitely take that to mean without end.

Looking for answers on many questions

“What is the purpose of life? Why am I here? Is this all there is? What is truth and does it really matter?”

Lots of people ask. Many seem to look at the wrong places for the answers.  Some know already where they can find some interesting answers. The answers to all these questions and more are all to be found in one place, our Bible or the Holy Scriptures. In the past it was more common for people to have some awareness of Bible teachings, but nowadays the Bible has been banned in many schools and eliminated from public life in many countries. As a consequence many don’t realize that it is the source of knowledge about the big issues of life, the truths that we all need to know. Our world is suffering from truth decay.

It is not because we know we can find the answer in the Bible that we take the time to look in it. The economical life in the industrialised countries is demanding so much of us that every one of us can get caught up in the busyness of everyday life and forget about the important issues. We can neglect reading the Bible. We can drift away from our beliefs. If we want to know about the best way to live our lives and keep on track, it is so important to read God’s word every day. It is sad that so many, not just in the world, but also in the brotherhood of believers, are not finding time to read their Bibles.

In the Christadelphian Tidings of the Kingdom of God magazine such aspects of our needs and searches is spoken of in the different articles. In the October 2013 article Having Truth Decay? the Christadelphian brother Robert J. Lloyd looks at, the with our free time, interfering situations where we all have a lot of stuff, material goods, that need care, but that we do not seem to find enough time to read the Holy Scriptures. The author points out at the danger of not reading the Bible which skews our understanding of God’s ways and can actually be offensive to God. But we also do have to see that in case those who have found God already, would not find time enough to read God’s Word, how difficult must it be for those who are still searching for God?

Turning our ear to the right direction

David’s son, Solomon, one of the wisest men who ever lived, tells us,

Reflecting God Study Bible

Reflecting God Study Bible (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

“One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination,”

which can be interpreted to mean we should not even pray if we do not have time to listen to God.

Have you ever met someone who does all the talking and never lets you get a word in edgewise? Some people are this way with God — they pray all the time but never listen to Him. Their actions speak out that they are not interested in God’s point of view. Solomon’s words imply that God may refuse to listen to us unless we also open His book and listen to Him.

This indicates also that the one who is looking for God does need to give the opportunity to God to come into the picture. The person has to show God that he or she is interested to listen to God and is willing to be interested in God His views, His ideas, His Words. Without giving any thought and time for God His Words it shall be very difficult to find God and to know what God wants for us or has prepared for us.

  • A Sermon: Reading the Bible Together (davidswanson.wordpress.com)
As a church we say that, “We desire to listen and submit to the Scripture, God’s revealed Word for His beloved children.” There are at least two important assumptions within this statement. The first is that God reveals himself through the Bible. God, being God, is so different from us that anything we know about God must be revealed by God. And though we don’t believe God has showed us everything about himself, as Christians we believe he has revealed enough for us to know him and experience his love and salvation. He has done this most importantly through his son.
  • Strange that Bible Addicts (elizabethesthercook.wordpress.com), who knows that everyone is addicted to something, but is afraid to share, has the impression that it’s a trend beginning to sweep her nation, where people can’t seem to remove themselves from their Bibles and end up focusing on them more than anything else in their life. In most countries people are not at all interested in the Bible withstand God. In many countries churches are also running empty, so it is strange that this “sophomore at the University of Alabama” who find it is hard to be a Christian in America, and in college especially, feels threatened by Bible addicts or Bible maniacs.

We have great preachers, Bible studies, radio programs, podcasts, and devotionals.  The reality, however, is that all we consume is milk.  Many Christians do not really know how to study their Bible.  Many Christians do not even have a consistent quiet time that is focused on reading and meditation on the Word.  Many read a little bit of scripture and then a lot of commentary or devotional material.  This is all milk.

Mental-health experts tell us that people need spiritual values in order to be truly happy. • Meet The Holy Spirit – The Spirit of Truth (refinedandpurifiedblog.wordpress.com)
I discovered the Spirit of God is a wind that hovered over the surface of the earth at the beginning of creation. I found out that the Holy Spirit is the person that went about gathering information needed to make the creation complete and perfect in all their glories. Seeing the state of my affairs now, It is no wonder that I am drawn to know the person of the Holy Spirit. And can I testify that, even as I study the Holy Spirit through the Bible and as I gather information about Him on the web, the wind sweeping through me in a heated room is a confirmation that the Spirit of God is alive and kicking. I would love to meet Him and would love for you to open your heart to Him as I share my daily experience with you on this journey.

“Who is The Most High” ? Who is thee Eternal? Who is Yehovah? Who is God?

More people should come to see that there are many more Christians in the world who are willing to accept Jeshua or Jesus Christ for what he really was and is, the son of God and mediator between God and man.

.

Those who want to call themselves Christians = followers of Christ Jesus should take Jesus as their intercessor and high priest, seated at the right hand of the Only One God, the Elohim Hashem Jehovah.

But than he still wants to keep on the tradition of so many Christians who do not want to accept the words of God who said about the man born in Bethlehem and baptised by his nephew John: “This is my beloved son”. Though God is not a god of lies but always tells the truth. His son, Jeshua,or Jesus Christ from Nazareth, could sin, was tempted many times (remember God can not sin and not be tempted) did not know every thing (God knows everything and sees everything) but was sure that he could do nothing without his Father, the only One God, to whom he prayed and told us also to pray to..

Foreknowledge (omniscience or all-knowing) means that God has known in advance all those who will be born and those who will accept Him as the true God  through Christ.  So He chose them (predestination).  The calling is through the gospel but at different periods of time.  Some will immediately believe that Christ is Lord and Saviour.  Others do so when they are about to die.  Justification is equivalent to salvation.  Those who believe in Jesus Christ are already saved from the Lake of Fire.  And, finally, glorification when eternal life is given on Resurrection Day or the Rapture.

Accommodation of the Void

When the darkness was in the eternal past something happened which many human brains can not cope with. It goes beyond their human capacity to understand.

.

There is only one major doctrine for humankind and that is the believe that there is a Supernatural Divine Being that is the Originator of everything.

.

We loathe a void because we detest that what we can not or do not know and/or understand. the emptiness of the void seems so unreal and untouchable. That a void is considered something bad is strange, because the nothingness can also be pleasant or something very intriguing. The being without something is creating a possibility to get something which shall be filled or made un-empty or full, and fullness looks something great.

.

When there is nothing there can not be energy, so those thinking there would have been nothing before the Big Bang should wonder how the mass could get moving and energy created out from nothing.

.

You may say nothing in existence did not first come from a void. When the void is really only an empty space it also could become a vacant space. Void should not always be equal to ‘without force’ or to be ‘invalid’. When the ‘void’ has nothing it can also not have volition or the act or power of using its own will or choosing to make a decision or going into action. This interferes with the idea of the big Bang being the beginning of the universe.

.

To say that the reason that there is a void created is because that which was there to begin with no longer fits is too easy to give way.

.

It is our egotistical culture and our proud which makes that we want to be able to unravel the things in front of our eyes. We all think we can explain everything and have difficulty to believe the unbelievable or that what seems to be impossible to grasp. It is very easy to become upset by the ’emptiness’ that would be controlled by Something Higher than a human being. Most man consider man the most high and superior being. They think they can use freely all plants and animals and do whatever they want with them.

.

Having to accept that there would be something before that Big Bang, which controlled already the things leading up to that Big Bang makes it very difficult for many people. should they then understand that there would be an other Ego that was capable to do what they only can dream of? The Something which is incomprehensible for man which has been there and is still there to fill the space of emptiness within, is the Something we get to know to be the All Being or Allah, the Only One God, Divine Creator.

.

that divine Creator is the “I am that I am” the “Being that is”: “I am”. Opposite being “there to be”, we can find the human beings there not to present themselves for the other, but preferring having the others for his or her own being.  Ours is a culture that glorifies “having” instead of Being. It is true that when we are ‘Being’, we are not in need of ‘having’. this is what the “I Am” of the Scriptures tells us. He wants us to see how we should become void for the other. We do not have to empty us for ourselves but we do have to empty ourselves by giving to others and having the others and the Supreme Being filling us.

.

The world may have come into being by a positive energy and now we have the counterpart where humankind creates lots of negative energy. Negative energy creating within us a feeling of lack, and when we have a feeling of lack. This shortcomings can get us back down in the well of darkness, back into the void of the world.

.

But God does not want to see us in the darkness. He wants to see us in the light.

.

Light was created to be mightier than the void. It should be the rays which can open our eyes and get us further on the path of experience and challenge to go forwards to better pastures in a realm which shall be better than this world.

.

We may feel the things that we desire the most that we are still not yet ready for, we may look to others and think they do have it better than us. But we should look into our own hearts and find the light shining in there. When we are trying to fill the void with energy that is not the correct energy we are doing ourselves no big favours, so we better go looking for the right energy. The good force, which is provided in the universe for all to find and to grasp. We are not meant to fret over the void.

.

We may not let us be blinded by those who would like to tell us that  there is nothing in the void (thereby making it a negative thing). We should look further than our nose, further than most people believe.

We may carry our past but should only take the best out of it and carry on going into the future, being aware that once the energy got flowing it shall not stop until the Person who started it going calls it to stop.

.

Though that Being Who started all the energy going is not willing to have it stopping; He promised that whatever turbulence there would come, once in the time there shall come a moment when there would be another Big Bang, namely the Third World War or Armageddon, and then the end would come for this world system. Then the promised Saviour will take over and shall take care that the right persons with the right energy shall be able to continue their path to the Kingdom of God, the World of the First and Foremost Divine Creator.

Then we shall be able to speak of the First World and the New World. Let us be ready to be there in the right place on the right time to enter that New World.

While, the splitting of the molecule caused a white flash of pure spectral light to echo across the once barren cosmos. The theists tell me that behind and within everything is Divine Light. The Buddhists tell me that behind and within everything is void. They both claim this is the only side of the coin. They both tell me that their cosmology of an incomplete Tao is valid. Could it be possible that both views are true? There can be no light without dark. There can be no dark without light. Each highlights the other, provides a contrast in which the other can be experienced and perceived. Each provides balance to the other.

Over the millennium, numerous religious, philosophical, theoretical, metaphysical and mystic explanations have been fronted to explain creation. Creation stories abound in all cultures, including, but not limited to the Hopi Indians, ancient Babylonia, Mesopotamia, the Norse and the ancient Hebrews, to name a few. (For more detail regarding these stories, I suggest the web site of the University of Georgia and look for an article titled Creation Stories). As a few examples, I offer the Norse belief and one pre-Christian era belief.

“Emptiness” was not created by the Lord Buddha, as it simply reflects the “true reality” of all worldly phenomena. Even if the Lord Buddha did not appear in this world, this phenomenon of “Emptiness” still continues to exists; just like the fact that, even though there might not have scientific proofs from scientists before, the salt element continues to exist in sea water all the time.

  • Trying to Fill a Void (michaelcupo40.wordpress.com)
The whole nature of the Conditioned Mind Patterns is to satisfy an I Self that feels a sense of lack; a lack that it will try to fill, one way or another. This lack is the energy that causes the Conditioned Mind Pattern to be formed. It was this sense of lack that was controlling my reactions. I have come to understand that flare ups occur because our ego, operating through our Conditioned Mind Patterns, doesn’t allow us to flow with the energy of life. So it either erupts in the present or is stored, waiting for a future trigger and flare up to occur.

THE VOID

The Void. Ugh!

Even thinking about it in terms that can be thought as even being semi-friendly makes a lot of our brains itch. We loathe a void. A void means that we are empty of something and that the void demands to be filled. What we are not realizing is that there is a reason for the void and once it is that we understand the reason, there will be no more void. Too many of us are not accepting this. Too many people believe that a void is a bad thing when in reality it is only a neutral thing and doesn’t carry any negative energy until we choose to believe that it is something other than what it truly is, which is merely and only a void.

Nothing in existence did not first come from a void. A void is really only an empty space…

Nothingness

Eternity was, and the Eternal Being was there before the Void, which came after the nothingness. Because there was a before and a after there should have been the element of time. but also that time was created to become a measurable unit. With the years to measure that time changed and people got other ideas about time and still have changing ideas of time.
The void was in the darkness, there being no light, but would that mean that there would have been no warmth? Probably not. Temperature could be there when elements moved around and created friction which would cause warmth. When there were no energies present for any reaction to take place this would mean no action could cause reaction, and for sure no big hole could come into existing nor a Big Bang could provide for new forms or new life.
For sure in the purest form of an entity known as nothingness there was the Eternal Being, the Supreme Activator and Creator, the Elohim Hashem Jehovah.

/

We do and may ask people how life started, what reason it has to be here and how it is to continue. Without the past we shall not be able to understand the future. Therefore it is necessary to get to know The Power behind everything.

/

Man has always tried to find answers by himself. Man created special studies to gather ideas about how everything came into existence. Many scientific explanations could find the light and millions of words were written down on the subject.

/

In the scientific field, the theories which seek to explain the origin of the universe such as the big bang theory, as well as ideas which aim to resolve the issue of how humans were formed such as Charles Darwin’s Origin of the Species did find ardent followers but also many counterparts.

/

In the religious field through the years several theologians let themselves be carried away by many human writings, instead of studying the Holy Scriptures and following what is written in that Book of books. It looks like many stories we do know from the Bible can also be found in similar versions by other religions. This similarity of the stories by the many nations, should make us also wonder about the value of the oral traditions by those races.

/

The adherents of the big bang theory who  say that the big bang started from the rapid expansion of the universe may tell us where that first material and ‘first’ universe did come. When it would have been in a hot and dense state, there also should have been something that created that temperature. When there was nothing, what , how and why could there be something that could heat up if energy hasn’t even existed yet?

/

There are also gaps with religious ideas like the question where God came from, but there is the big catch of faith. The Being which is an Eternal Being, meaning having no beginning and no end, having been there for always, is the only point where we do need Faith for.  All other matters are clearly explained in the Bible and can also be proven by facts in history.
/

The Creator Himself provide a Guide-book or a Manual for our life. We can ignore it or use that Book of Books. when reading that book we shall be able to understand where we came from and where we have to go and where we shall end .

  • The Scientific Proof of the Existence of God (davidhannon976.wordpress.com)
The absolute scientific proof of the existence of God is: There are two things in the universe: energy; and, information, which is the conformation of energy. In 1John1:5 it says, “God is light”. Light is energy, therefore, energy is God. Capacitance causes consciousness. Gods eternal creating causes His eternal consciousness.

It had knowledge of many things and it had an existence which was unfathomable. Despite this, however, the Entity was not all-knowing. It knew everything that man could and would ever know and even way beyond those but there was one thing that it did not know: the meaning of its existence. Existing in realm of nothingness, the Entity had nothing to see, feel, hear, or whatever our senses enable us to do, and it was due to this that the Being felt meaningless. Its knowledge was infinite but since it knew that infinity is not synonymous with all-encompassing, it was in distraught, seeking for an answer.

Creationists welcome the idea of the possibility of a beginning, or a prior nothingness. Atheists, however, struggle to explain how nothing can ever produce something. It’s philosophically a hurdle that cannot be overcome. The conundrum leads inevitably to a demand by atheists, or scientists who who aim to explain reality without a creator, that something has always been. Creationists, on the other hand, see no reason not to believe in the possibility of nothingness prior to a Creator creating the first something.

When you ask people about how life started, or even how the entire universe came into fruition, their answer would basically boil down into two categories – an answer which is derived from scientific explanations and another which involves an application of faith, a response born of their religion. In the scientific field, we see theories which seek to explain the origin of the universe such as the big bang theory, as well as ideas which aim to resolve the issue of how humans were formed such as Charles Darwin’s Origin of the Species. In the religious field, despite there being a plethora of religions which have their own version of the origin story, all of them still point out to the concept that everything was created by all-powerful and ever-present entity.

However, no matter which side you may be with in the explanation of things, there always…
