Infinite payment of sin by the son of God

Jesus, the only way to God

Jeanie Shepard says she has dedicated her life to serving God, and being an example of the love of Christ. As a passionate Bible teacher, committed to inspiring and encouraging people to live their best lives now, to face their fears, and to grow stronger in the holy things of God, she believes that no other religion teaches the depth or seriousness of sin and its consequences.

We are afraid we can not agree with that, because in this world of many religious groups we can find more than one religion where the followers look at good and evil. After man came to get knowledge of good and evil that knowledge went from one to an other generation and even non-religious people thought about people going bad, what in Christendom is called sinning.

she also writes

No other religion offers the infinite payment of sin that only Christ could provide. {The Only Way}

When she means “Christ” the Kristos or Messiah delivering people she is again missing the promise to and the believe of the Jews, and in some aspect also the Muslims. Jews and Muslims look also to the Messiah. In the Islam it is also taught that Ishi/Jesus will come back and that at his return he shall come to judge the living and the dead. For the Jews, they too wait for their Messiah to come, though for them, we do agree, they look (perhaps) for an other person than we and Jeanie Shepard are looking for. Many of them shall be surprised to find out that rabbi Jeshua is really that promised one from God.

With the writer of JSM Grow in God’s Word we too believe we should look to that Christ, though her idea of that Christ is not the biblical view nor our view. She considers that Christ to be God having come to the earth and having done as if he died, because God can not die and is an eternal Spirit. Though she says to

believe we are saved by God’s grace through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. {The Only Way}

she contradict in a certain way what she says, because she does not seem to accept the personality Jesus Christ. This is a general problem with a lot of people who call themselves Christian. Instead of accepting the words of Jesus Christ and the Words of his heavenly Father they prefer to believe the human doctrines and to make Jesus into their god.
Such idea undermines the position of Jesus Christ, the man who is called by the Word of God to be the son of man and the son of God.

We all should know that God is bigger than anything that we go through; but that He is also greater than Jesus. Rabbi Jeshua knew very well his position and never claimed to be God, but made it very clear where he was standing, not able to do anything without God.

Christians should take those words of Jesus at heart. They should believe that Jesus, the sent one from God, his heavenly Father works in him and still works today. Christians should understand Jesus his position, being under God, even not able to do anything of himself. Jesus like all the people who saw the miracles could see what God the Father did. It is this God of Abraham Who authorised rabbi Jeshua, Christ Jesus, to do all these things. For all that Jesus does is done by the Power of God.

Because of God having given the authority to speak and act in His Name, this son does together with the Elohim Hashem Jehovah out of love for mankind.  Everything Jesus did was out of love for God Whose Will he wanted to do, and not his own will (which he would have done when he is God). First Jesus was lower than angels, but after his ransom offering he was made higher, though God always stays the Most High.

This Most High Eternal God is the Father Who loves His only begotten beloved Son and shows him all the things that He does, and He will show him greater works than these that we may marvel. For as the Father raises up the dead and gives them life; even so God His son gives life unto whom he will. Therefore we should take heed and look at this sent one from God who may judge the living and the dead and is at the moment seated at the right hand of God (and not on God‘s throne) to be a mediator between God and man.  For the Father judges no man but has committed all judgement unto the son that everyone should honour the son, even as they honour the Father.

We should take the Words of God, given in the Holy Scriptures very serious. In the New Testament we are warned that he that does not honour the son does not honour the Father Who has sent him, plus that believe in him is important for man’s salvation.

Jesus also warns the people around him that those who hear his words and believes Him (Jehovah God) that sent him (Jesus Christ, the Messiah) has eternal life and shall not come into judgement but has passed from death unto life. But you could also read this as an implication that the ones who do not want to believe God and Jesus their words shall not pass from death to life and shall not be able to enter the small gate of the Kingdom of God.

First of all we should have to look up to the One Who sent Jesus, secondly we should look at the one sent by God.  For as the Father has life in Himself, so has He given to the son to have life in himself and has also given him power and authority to execute judgement because Jeshua (Jesus Christ) is Son of man and the son of God in whom we should put our hope.

“17  But Jesus answered them, “My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”
18 Therefor the Jews sought the more to kill Him, because He not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, “Verily, verily I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do; for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. 20 For the Father loveth the Son and showeth Him all things that He Himself doeth; and He will show Him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. 21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead and quickeneth them, even so the Son quickeneth whom He will. 22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son, 23 that all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father who hath sent Him.

24 Verily, verily I say unto you, he that heareth My Word and believeth in Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life. 25 “Verily, verily I say unto you, the hour is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and they that hear shall live. 26 For as the Father hath life in Himself, so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself, 27 and hath given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. 28 Marvel not at this; for the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice 29 and shall come forth—they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. 30 “I can of Mine own self do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I seek not Mine own will, but the will of the Father who hath sent Me.

31  If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true. 32 There is Another that beareth witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesseth of Me is true. 33 “Ye sent unto John, and he bore witness unto the truth. 34 But I receive not testimony from man, but these things I say, that ye might be saved. 35 He was a burning and a shining light, and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. 36 But I have greater witness than that of John; for the works which the Father hath given Me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of Me that the Father hath sent Me.” (John 5:17-36 KJ21)

We may not let our mind being filled with false human thoughts, but should listen to the Word God has given us. We may also not let our heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid, by wondering what others might think if we do not follow the mainstream or do not take part in the many human traditions.

The Bible teaches that there is no other way to salvation, but through Christ. Jesus is the way to God and the path to eternal salvation for those who believe in him. No one comes to the Father except through the son, and Jesus is the only begotten son of the Father. He is the only acceptable sacrifice by which man’s sins are forgiven.

“”For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 KJ21)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23 KJ21)

All people should come to hear what Jesus has taught. He left the earth but he shall come again unto us. Those who accepted Jesus for what or who he is and love him, there can be rejoicement because they know and believe that Jesus went unto the Father, and not to himself or to take back his place as God; for his Father is greater than himself (Jesus Christ). Christians also should tell others about this son of man who is the son of God, and not a god-son, that the world may know that Jesus does not love himself but loves the Father; and as the Father gave him commandment, even so does Jeshua (Jesus Christ).

“27 “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

28  Ye have heard how I said unto you, ‘I go away and come again unto you.’ If ye loved Me, ye would rejoice because I said, ‘I go unto the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that when it is come to pass, ye might believe. 30 “Hereafter I will not talk much with you, for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in Me. 31 But that the world may know that I love the Father, as the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.” (John 14:27-31 KJ21)

When you believe those things, then you should be able to accept and believe that

Through Jesus everyone who believes is set free from every sin; (Acts 13:38-39; 1st John 2:12). Sin has a penalty that must be paid, if not through the shed blood of Jesus finish work on the cross,

not that

the only other option is the eternal torment in hell’s unquenchable fire. {The Only Way}

because by dying all payment is given for the sins done. God does not want any other payment and tells us that when we die it is finished.

Though we may not forget that

To receive the free gift of eternal salvation, we must look to Jesus alone. We must place our trust in the finished work of the cross as our payment for sin and in his resurrection.

Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved; (Acts 4:12).

        • In all our websites it is clearly indicated how we place our links: the ‘Preceding articles’, followed by ‘Additional reading’ from like minded people and ‘Further reading’ for articles which we do find interesting to look at, but of which we warned people that they not always think the same as us and that they can even contradict our sayings. Next we place “Related articles” where people once more can find other articles which may touch some other subjects mentioned in the article.

In our foreword, in the announcements and in the amenability or justification we also clearly say to people we want to present a readers digest of what there can be found on the internet about certain subjects. If we would be subjective we would leave out all that have other opinions than us, but we want to be objective and let the readers choose which writers, articles, pictures they want to follow or not.

Concerning the religious articles we do believe that it is God Who pulls man and that there can be different ways to come to God, and as such Christadelphians do not believe you (or any person) have (has) to be a Christadelphian to be saved, like so many churches which preach people have to be a member of their church or they will be doomed.

          • “like so many churches which preach people have to be a member of their church or they will be doomed.”

I don’t know where you got that information from but that’s a flat out lie. Christians believe that it is by faith alone in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. That He died on the cross for our sins, on the third day He rose from the grave and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. Anyone who puts their faith and trust in Jesus Christ is saved regardless what Christian church they go to. If I were you I would see where i got that info because it’s incorrect.

            • Listen how certain preacher preach in their church and how they try to bring people into their church.

Strangely enough all those like you who claim no works are needed and we are all saved still keep frightening their members with hellfire and say if they are not careful they end up in hell, by which they mean a place of eternal torment. So when they believe we do not have to do any works why are they still frightening their members than? Are they lying and making them afraid , trying to get enough money in the basket which they let pass in their church? (why they ask money? Remember no offering is any more needed.)

9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

This other gospel that Paul was referring to was a works based salvation which you like the Jehovah Witnesses believe. You guys preach another gospel.

                Galatians 5:4
4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

Your works based salvation as aliened you and the Jehovah Witnesses from a saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus preached more about hell than He did about heaven

                How did Jesus describe Hell?

You are not saved, so I pray that you may believe in the Lord Jesus Christ that He died for your sins and on the third day He rose from the grave. If repent and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Yahweh), (Joel 2:32) you will (Romans 10:13) be saved. What do you have in common with the cults? All of the cults deny the deity of Jesus 100%. Muslim, Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, Christadelphians and etc. Jesus asked Peter who do you say that I am? Peter answered: You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God. Son of God means to be equal with God making Jesus God according to:

                John 5:17-18
17 In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” 18 For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

You like the Jehovah Witnesses reject John 1:1 “the Word was God” because without believe that Jesus is God Satan keeps you in sin and deceived. You say “the Word was a god” That means that you believe in two gods which goes against Deut 6:4. I say what the Bible teaches that Jesus and the Father are one God while you believe in multiple gods. Show me “ONE” Greek N.T. manuscript that has John 1:1 the Word was a god? You will never show it to me because that belief is a fable and comes from Satan.

    • All Christians should clearly come to see who Jesus is and Who God is. They also should follow the teaching of rabbi Jeshua and accept the words of that master teacher who never claimed to be God and he himself prayed and taught others to pray to his heavenly Father, the Only One true God of Abraham.

This sent one form God also told many parables concerning what people should do, though you seem to forget all those stories or do not seem to understand what Jesus wanted to tell. Clearly he speaks about the ways people still can loose the possibility to enter the Kingdom of God.

Do you sincerely think all people shall now be able to join all bad people in the Kingdom of God. The world has seen many wrongdoers who where so called Christians or baptised people, some of the murders had even a high position in their church.

In the New testament we can find enough warnings for the future. So we better take care to be ready for when Jesus returns, before it is too late.

  2. “If you think Jesus is God because he is one with the father and in Jesus that we all are god, because Jesus demands us to be in him and to be united with him like he is united with his heavenly Father. So when we become a Christian becoming in Christ according to your way of thinking we become God.”

Your quote above tells me that you don’t understand the difference between Jesus and the Father being one and Christians being one with Jesus.

Jesus being one with the Father meant that He and the Father were one God because of Jesus’ attributes. Jesus forgives sins which only God can do, healed the sick (with His own authority) which only God can do, rose people from the grave (with His own authority) which only God can do, Jesus is the only Savior of the world which in the Book of Isaiah 43:11 says, I, I am Yahweh, and there is no other Savior but Me.

Jesus is called God in Titus 2:13 which says, while we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Also in 1 John 5:20 it says, And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know the true One. We are in the true One–that is, in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

Christians being one with Christ refers to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit inside of them. The Holy Spirit is called God in Acts 5, Jesus and the Father will make their homes within the believer in John 14:23 which says, Jesus answered, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

All three are one God who exists as three different persons.

    • The being oneness is something which goes for all, in life, in marriage, in their relationship with nature, in their relationship with Jesus and in their relationship with God. Christians also do have to get the same attitude as Christ, trying to become like him. They too have to become children of God, though they never shall be able to become the same child as Christ or be born in the same manner as Christ.

That Jesus is the saviour of mankind does not mean he is God. Any other saviour like a firefighter is not God, though he might well be a saviour of human beings.

You referring to words spoken by God try to imply that it is Jesus saying he is God. But you started out from the wrong concept. In Isaiah it is God speaking to the world and telling us He is the Only One God Without Whom there is no salvation, which is true because in the garden of Eden God provided the solution for a saviour and when Jesus fulfilled not his own will but did the Will of his heavenly Father, the God of Abraham, God was willing to accept Jesus his sin-offering. By accepting the ransom payment provided by Jesus his death (god cannot die, remember) God allowed Jesus to bring salvation over mankind. That way, by the Power of God and by the allowance of God the saviour Jesus, the long awaited Messiah or Christ, became a saviour for all mankind.

In the text of Titus you seem to overlook the “and”, we ahving to be on the look out to The Most High God and to the god (higher placed person) Jesus (Remember how in the Bible and in old as well still today important persons or persons in the picture are also called god: angels, Moses, Pharaoh, Apollo, Zeus, Aphrodite, but still today not in the bible but like then also in common life ordinary people like Spear, Cloney, Ali, Maradonna, Presley and many others).

It was the sent one from God who came to shed a light unto his heavenly Father, The God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob but also of Christ Jesus and his disciples.

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.” (1 John 5:20 ASV)

You too should come to believe in that sent one from God, who is the Son of God has come who has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and that you also may become in him and become like we are in him that is true, even in God his Son Jehsua [Yahshua (KJBPNV)] the Messiah. It is the True One (Jehovah God) Who is the true God (not Jesus), and eternal life.

Strangely enough you end up quoting Jesus asking to believe in him (though you do not accept that he says God is greater than him). We should in this sightless, non-believing world come to love Jesus. When we love Jesus than we accept what he is and what he has done for us. If you love Jesus, you would better follow his words and will carefully keep his word. That way it shall not be Jesus but his heavenly Father, the one Who sent Jesus, Who also shall love you and then you shall be able to move right into the brotherhood!

“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” (John 14:23 ASV)

Therefore come to believe that there is only One True God and that Jesus is His only begotten son, like the One God Who does not tell lies said Himself:

“And she shall bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name JESUS; for it is he that shall save his people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21 ASV)

“and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:17 ASV)

“15 that whosoever believeth may in him have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:15-16 ASV)

      • Scripture completely disagrees with you as to Jesus being God. If you don’t believe that Jesus is God then you are worshipping a man and making him your idol which is against scripture according to:

        Isaiah 48:11
I will act for My own sake, indeed, My own, for how can I be defiled? I will not give My glory to another.”

        Isaiah 42:8
I am Yahweh, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another or My praise to idols.

We Christians believe in Yahweh who manifisted Himself in the person of Jesus Christ. For Jesus to be the Savior He has to be God because only Yahweh saves according to Isaiah 43:11 which says, I, I am Yahweh, and there is no other Savior but Me.

Jesus according to Acts 4 is said about Him that there is no other name under heaven where men must be saved by. Yahweh said no other Savior exits because He is the ony Savior and Jesus is the only Savior according to the New Testament. Did Yahweh forget what He said in the Book of Isaiah? Of course not! Jesus is the only Savior because He is God who is the only Savior but you cults believe in two different gods and in two different saviors which is idolatry. You guys believe in a false Jesus who is unBiblical and can’t save you because it’s not the real Jesus.

        John 8:24
Therefore I said unto you that ye shall die in your sins, for if ye do not believe that I AM, ye shall die in your sins.

If you believe in the wrong Jesus you cannot be saved. ALL cults reject Jesus deity because without it you won’t be able to get saved. That is Satan deception and the Christadelphians and Jehovah Witnesses is a religion that has doctrines of demons which Satan uses to deceive people for one purpose, to reject Jesus’ deity so as not to get saved.

        • You write “If you don’t believe that Jesus is God then you are worshipping a man and making him your idol which is against scripture according to:” but that it because you are worshipping this man Jesus which we do not. We only worship the only One True God of Israel, The God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Jesus and his disciples.

we do not give glory to any man in the way we give glory to the Most High God, the Host of hosts and God of gods. Those other gods we do not pray to or do not have graven images of. Neither do we have a graven image of the Only One true God. Whilst many Christians do have graven images of their god Jesus, in front of which they bow and to whom they pray.

If you consider that when a person say you have to believe in him or her because je or she says he is (I am) and that he than is God makes any replier in the world (according to you) God. Because what would you reply when we ask you “Are you the one given us this commentary”?
Or when you answer the phone and you are asked if you are so and so, would you not answer with I am? SO then you make yourself to be the “I am” it is you make yourself to be God?

When Jesus was asked on occasions if he was so and so then he replied naturally “I am” like we still would do, but that does not make him nor us God.

suddenly you tell people have to believe something which is have to do an act or a work … though in other places you say we are saved and do not works any more. Should you not make up your mind. Either we do have to do works, like coming to believe who Jesus is, coming to repent for previous committed sins, coming to be baptised, coming to be reborn (all works, which according to the Bible and us a person has to commit.).

          • I’m sorry but you do not worship the true Living God or Jesus Christ. You cults are like the Muslims who reject Jesus’ deity and claim He is only a prophet but you go even further and worship a man, now that’s idolatry regardless how you want to say it. We, Christians, worship the true Living God Jesus Christ. We Christian will never think that we are gods, that’s the dumbest remark that I have ever heard. You cults don’t even know what a Christian believes in because you don’t know the Bible being void of the Holy Spirit.

When the Bible says to be Christ-like it means to have the attitude of Jesus Christ so that we may be pleasing to Him by having our minds ready to do His will, not like you cults say, that Christians want to be gods that is the most ridiculous and saddest comment that I have ever heard. The ones who believe in being gods are the Mormons which Christians reject and classified them as being in your camp “cults.” You guys who were deceived by John Thomas just like the Jehovah Witnesses were through Charles Taze Russell, think that all of a sudden your group are the only ones who have the truth and of course this so called knowledge sprung up in the 1800’s.

ALL the major false religions came in the 1800’s like:

            1. Christian Science by Mary Baker Eddy, the year 1876
            2. Jehovah Witnesses by Charles Taze Russell, the year 1870
            3. Seventh Day Adventist by Ellen G. White, the year 1860
            4. Christadelphians by John Thomas, the year 1844
            5. Bahai Faith by Baha’ullah, the year 1863
6.Mormonism “Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints” by Joseph Smith, the year 1830

All the churches above came from Satan to deceive the masses into rejecting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

We would not mind spending time to go over what the Bible says, what would be so called contrary to our teachings, and see what you say there is written and compare what we believe with what is black on white really written in the Bible. For this exercise you may tell us which bible Translation you want to use and we should use.

To start off, we begin with the main point of our belief, namely that there is Only One True God, the God of gods, Host of hosts, the Elohim Hashem Jehovah.

Do you agree that the Bible says there is only One true God of gods?

(And please do not forget to add Bible verses to state what you think would be the truth according to you.)

        • Are you not contradicting yourself, writing “Scripture completely disagrees with you as to Jesus being God. If you don’t believe that Jesus is God then you are worshipping a man and making him your idol which is against scripture according to”

You first say that “Scripture disagrees with Jesus being God.” though you still keep saying that Jesus is God.

We do accept what the Bible says, be cause we do believe it is the infallible Word of God and we do believe God does not tell lies.

It is not because you and many other Christians worship Jesus that we would also worship him and as such we would worship a man and making him our idol which is against scripture, which again you seem to agree with but still to do against the Will of God and against Biblical teachings. And should Christians not follow the Biblical teachings instead of human doctrines?

          • Explain to me why than does Jesus have all the attributes of God. Also, in Hebrews 1 Jesus is called God. Titus 2:13 Jesus is called God. In the Book of John 17 Jesus prays and asked the Father to glorify Him as before, making Him existing before all things. In the Book of John 8:58 Jesus clearly calls Himself eternal. Explain those passages for me please and please stay in it’s context. Do not be a Jehovah Witness who likes to pretzel verses.

              • What you just said doesn’t make any sense. By your conclusion you are saying than that a regular person can forgive sins. In the Bible that attribute was done only by God yet Jesus did it. Jesus was doing things that only God can do because Jesus is God. No old testament prophet ever forgave sins but God alone. You have not answered one verse that I gave you.

Today there are still many denominations where ther are several sacrements. Confession is one of those sacramants. So you say those preachers and priests saying to the confessing person or to the one who comes to be baptised that his or her sins are forgiven, means that that person saying it is God? A very weird conclusion, though perhaps you as a pastor would like to play for god and like to say to people that their sins are forgiven (in the hope they will come to think like you that only God can forgive sins and you saying it makes you into God! ?!?!?????).

6 But some of the scribes were sitting there, thinking to themselves: 7 “Why does He speak like this? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
8 Right away Jesus understood in His spirit that they were thinking like this within themselves and said to them, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, pick up your mat, and walk’? 10 But so you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” He told the paralytic, 11 “I tell you: get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”

The passages above clearly state that forgiving sins can only done by God alone yet Jesus states that He has that same authority to do what only God can do. No other human being had that authority but Christ alone. It was blasphemous to say that you can forgive sins because we are not God which only God can do. Jesus demonstrated that He has the same authority as God because He is God.

Jesus is given authority to do all those things in the name of God, not out of himself but with authority by the Power of God, because Jesus cannot do anything without God.

“Jesus therefore answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless [it is] something He sees the Father doing; for whatever [the Father] does, these things the Son also does in like manner.” (John 5:19 NAS)

Which clearly shows that Jesus is not God but an other person who received the allowance to do things in God’s Name.

                    • God the Son does exactly what His Father does. Jesus is called God in Hebrews 1:8 which says, 8 but to the Son:
                      Your throne, God,
                      is forever and ever,
and the scepter of Your kingdom
                      is a scepter of justice.

He can’t do nothing of Himself because He is doing the will of His Father which it’s His will as well because they both are the same God according to Hebrews 1:8. Doing the Fathers will is doing His will also.

The reason I say this is because He is clearly called God. You cannot understand this because you reject Jesus as being God and also reject passages that clearly say it just like your brothers in arms the Jehovah Witnesses, who by the way had to change the Bible to make Jesus a god. Look at the length they went to reject the real Jesus. WOW and sad of course.

I myself could write clear instructions that are unambiguous, but God can’t manage same?!
Don’t simply blame the “fallible people” who wrote it – God would have still foreseen problem and taken remedial action.

                    • Of course, you find it strange since you don’t love the truth. The Bible is clear and no you can’t make it clearer than God. To understand the Bible is through the Holy Spirit who gives you the meaning according to 1 Corinthians 2:14 which says, But the unbeliever does not welcome what comes from God’s Spirit because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually.

To understand the Bible you have to be saved, by having faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. But this will be foolishness to you because you are void of the Holy Spirit. Today, you can have a relationship with Jesus Christ. He took your sins upon Himself so you don’t have to die in your sins if you put your faith and trust in what He did for you. Jesus died on the cross, was buried and on the third day rose from the grave and is sitting in the right hand of God the Father. We are all born in sin and no sin can enter into heaven but Jesus can forgive your sins if you repent and put your faith in Him today.

I personally don’t follow anyone’s interpretation and even when my pastor says something I hold him up to what the text plainly says. Sometimes my pastor might say something that I would disagree with but it is not like John Thomas who deviates completely from sound doctrine that would cause someone not to be saved, that’s heresy and that is what you people believe in.

Where do you get the right to say that we would be indoctrinated by John Thomas and are not able to think for ourself, whilst you claim to thin for yourself and not under influence of any schooling or indoctrination?

Your wrong idea about the Christadelphians is that you take Dr.Thomas to be in a similar position as the pope of the Roman Catholic church or the same as your instigator of your church, whatever denomination it might be. Or do you belong to no denomination in the Church at all and as such would also be a cult group, like you would call them?

John Thomas provided for a name so that those Christians not wanting to take up arms could be protected and be recognised by the fighting states.

You have to read the Bible plainly. It wasn’t written for educated people but for lay people. Show me one Greek text (manuscript) that has the text saying in John 1:1 “Word was a god?” John 1:1 plainly says with verse 14 which makes the Word Jesus that Jesus was God in verse 1. But noooo….John Thomas comes along and tells you guys not to believe that without any evidence of any Greek manuscript to back it up by stating otherwise. Why do you think the Jehovah Witness changed John 1:1 because they knew full well that that passage made Jesus God and they didn’t like it so they changed it.

I can show you verses that easily says that Jesus is God even the Jehovah Witness seen this and had to change John 1:1 am I right? Why did they changed the verse into Jesus being a god because they seen that it clearly said Jesus was God or else they would of left it alone am I right?
